The story thus far...
Oh hi again, you made it to the end. This is the character development stuff, the backstory. The tales that pictures don't show...
A not so long time ago (relatively)
BIO:
With a rich history spanning 20 years in AAA gaming and entertainment, I've focused my career on the art of storytelling through interactive experiences. They began their journey with traditional art forms—pen, ink, paint, and airbrush—before transitioning into digital art with Photoshop, After Effects, Flash and 3ds Max in 2000. A graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2005, I began my journey in the industry by contributing to iconic titles like Mortal Kombat, and most recently, Ark2 and Crash Team Rumble, with about 20 AAA titles released in between!
I've spent approximately 3 years investigating todays workflows in entertainment, with a focus on Unreal Engine 5 and Unity5/6, and have built a respectable aptitude to move fluently across all platforms. Now I'm taking all the accumulated knowledge from building the greatest digital experiences into the real world...and vice versa.
MY MISSION:
Change the Game
The landscape of gaming technology is evolving rapidly. With advancements in graphics, AI, and VR/AR, developers can create more immersive and engaging experiences than ever before. The integration of real-time rendering and interactive storytelling is pushing the boundaries of creativity, allowing for deeper narratives and player engagement.
Moreover, the intersection of gaming and fashion presents exciting opportunities for collaboration. Brands are increasingly exploring how to integrate their products into gaming environments, creating unique experiences that resonate with players. This fusion can lead to innovative marketing strategies and new ways for players to express their identities.
The industry's shift towards more consumer-oriented models, like free-to-play games, showcases the importance of community and engagement. This is where automation and efficient pipelines can enhance the user experience by providing personalized content and rewards that keep players coming back.
Finally is perhaps one of my most endearing prospects in moving industries forward together, and that's efficiency and resource management. This doesn't mean how we manage new assets and resources, but how we effectively manage the resources we have as not to be wasteful and truly maximize the value in everything we do and create. If efficiencies are not met along this path, the traction gained is not evident for clients, and they won't want to continue investing. People. Energy. Finances. AI.
Meet me at the playground.
